lamad is Hebrew for "to teach, learn, cause to learn" and kardia is Greek for "the heart". The heart, by definition according to Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words "stands for man's entire mental and moral activity... it represents the true character of man.... the hidden man."
It was said of King David, that he was a man after God's own heart, a man who would do all His will. That is the kind of man I want to be, so the reflections and interactions that we engage with on this blog is to help us learn from one another how to align our hearts with the heart of God and to remain steadfast in that pursuit.
